early voting opens friday, sept 18
It’s easy to request your ballot by mail in Minnesota. To vote by mail apply to have an absentee ballot mailed to you. You do not need to be registered to apply for a ballot and can even update your voting registration online. We recommend requesting your ballot by Oct 20th to allow plenty of time to receive and return it.
To complete the vote by mail application online you must:
Be eligible to register and vote in Minnesota
Provide an email address
Provide your identification number: MN-issued driver's license, Minnesota ID card or last 4 digits of Social Security Number

Want to vote in-person? Early voting for the primary starts on Friday, September 18th. Click on this link to find your polling place. To be eligible to vote in Minnesota you must:
Be at least 18 years old on Election Day (Nov 3rd)
Be a citizen of the United States, having resided in Minnesota for 20 days immediately preceding Election Day
Have any felony conviction record discharged, expired or completed
Not be under court-ordered guardianship where a court has revoked your voting rights or been ruled legally incompetent by a court of law
Commit to voting for progressive change this november
